How will the Harris family ever reunite after the massive cliffhanger at the end of La Brea’s first season? Not only are Eve and Josh still separated from Gavin and Izzy, but now Josh and Eve are separated from each other after Josh and Riley disappear through the portal to 1988. Meanwhile, Eve is blissfully unaware that Gavin and Izzy’s rescue mission has led them to be in the sinkhole’s 10,000 B.C.
Season two needs to deliver a handful of answers to plot twists, including Silas’ role in the creation of the sinkholes, the mysterious building in the woods, and how Lucas will handle his mother’s death.
La Brea is not a stranger to plot twists, with season one being home to several vital ones, all of which are designed to help understand the intricacy of the story as a whole. So, what massive storylines does the mystery drama have in store for season two?
With so many characters separated and exploring different areas, whether it is new terrain in 10,000 B.C or Josh and Riley’s excursion in 1988, several other plot threads eventually need to lead the divided group of main characters back together.
Returning home and learning the truth behind the sinkholes are two of the series’ biggest mysteries. Season one has already left many significant hints about what lies behind the enigma. Season two now must expand on the worldbuilding of who and what else exists in 10,000 B.C while answering the audience’s questions, while even potentially answering questions viewers may not have even realized they had.
Will the Harris family ever reunite? Will Riley and Sam make their way back to each other? Will the sinkhole’s survivors ever find their way home? What did Silas truly do to get everyone stuck in this situation?
As La Brea airs its second season, many of these questions may finally be answered.
